About The Art
I’ve been a vivid dreamer since the beginning. The first dream I remember was flying in a large airplane but never taking off. Like a car, the airplane navigated down the main road of my small-ish town. While the dream was relevant to my waking life as I prepared to take my first airplane ride to Savannah, Georgia, it was also a message from within, a message from my soul. It said “stay in your body Christine, stay in control of you.”
The First Day
I’ve had a conflicted relationship with technology during quarantine. Yesterday, I laid in bed for a good portion of the day deep in my thoughts. I “zoomed” all morning and decided that I earned some time to be still. Did you ever think “zooming” would be such a popular word? Well, in my stillness, I stumbled upon the movie Julie and Julia with Meryl Streep and Amy Adams. I guess then, I wasn’t really being still.
